- Magic Wand tool

• Click anywhere in the space of the background and keep on clicking until the pen is fully selected.

- To get rid of the white grid when zoomed in the image go:

• view - show - grid (un tick the grid)

Filter - blur - gaussian blur - 1.3

Go to levels and move the slider to create smooth pixels with the object and the background, 0.31 was best suited to the pen so i chose this one.

Luminosity - doesn't effect the colours of your image just the levels you want to adjust your image to.

Option key & click:

With layer only makes the adjustment to the layer below rather than doing the adjusments to all the layers you have.

• cone cells are colour sensitive
• cone cells peak sensitivities @ 430,535 and 590Nm

- Metamerism:
Pairs of different light spectra that are perceived as the same colour by the brain.
